Our gorgeous new “Nikiforos” suite, is on the 3rd floor (accessed ONLY by stairs) of an imposing, traditional building, located at the Pinia square over the famous tobacco shop on Nikiforou Theotoki street which is one of the “landmarks” of Corfu old town. Its’ outstanding location, at the heart of the vibrant old town, guarantees our guests having the enjoyment of staying in one of the most fascinating parts of this unique old town.
The “Agathos” tobacconist’s shop on the ground floor, with the characteristic inscription “TOBACCO HOUSE 1941”, is one of the island’s historical businesses, as it was founded in 1941 by Nikos Agathos and his father and is one of the oldest tobacconists in Greece.
Our 3rd floor (accessed ONLY by stairs) “Nikiforos” suite, is a 2 rooms suite (bedroom and sitting room) is wonderful blend of traditional features blended with stylish contemporary finishes, bold, hand-picked fabrics which enhance the rooms and produce a beautifully elegant whole. With king size “Cocomat” bed, custom made headboard, crisp linens, pillows to suit all tastes and the full complement of technology mean that the “Nikiforos” suite offers a matchless level of design and comfort. The kitchenette in the living room has a small fridge and coffee machine and guests will love the complimentary “Apivita” products in the shower room. All 3 “TOBACCO HOUSE SUITES” have as added benefit of an additional sitting room which has a sofa bed, perfect for extra persons or 1-2 children. A glorious array of breakfast choices are literally on your doorstep or very close by, at the Liston Promenade and the Old Townhouse Square.
Faliraki, one of the oldest local bathing spots, is a short distance away and is a fantastic place for swimming and/or having a leisurely drink or snack with a striking view.
The “Nikiforos” suite, can be booked together with the “Constantinos” suite (2nd floor), and the “Amalia” suite (4th floor), which also sleep 2+2 adults, to create a self-contained three-bedroom suites plus living rooms, with external access on each floor.
The 3 “TOBACCO HOUSE SUITES” are situated in the very center of the Corfu Old Town, in one of the most distinctive areas, the well-known Pinia square, where you can still breathe the authentic atmosphere of the old times and the various historical periods. The location of our “TOBACCO HOUSE SUITES” is also ideal for exploring the old Corfu town as well as other interesting sights and tourist attractions on Corfu island.
